Since 1963, Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company has served families by offering insurance products for American families, specializing in Final Expense Insurance. Today, Lincoln Heritage is the national leader in that market, and credits their commitment to exceptional customer service as the reason for their success.
Founded by insurance agent and entrepreneur Mr. Jack Londen, the cornerstone of daily operations has always been old fashioned personalized service. For Lincoln Heritage, exceptional service means live people answering their phones rather than computers, and 24-hour payment of benefits when a death occurs, once a claim is approved.
According to Mr. Londen, “Our company was built on two overriding principles: First, respect for the individual, whether the person is a customer or a home office or field associate. Second, we insist on an all-encompassing devotion to personalized, prompt and accurate service. Everything else flows from those two ideals.” Operating in 49 states with over 6,000 agents nationwide, Lincoln Heritage continues its tremendous growth despite the recent recession.
Since 2007, the company has grown more than 10% per year, with 2014 being the highest production year in company history.
Mr. Jack Londen’s son Tom, who led the company until 2013, was similarly determined to carry on the founding philosophies. As Tom once said, “We are a family owned and managed company, so we do not answer to the quarterly demands of Wall Street. We answer to a higher calling than that. We can, and do, take the long view in managing our business. Our goal is to build something of lasting value that we can be proud of today and in the years and decades to come.”
Today, the 3rd generation of Londens carry on the family tradition. Tom’s sons Matt and Alex both hold key leadership positions within the organization.
